“BLIZZARD WOMENS ZERO G 95 FLAT SKIS
The Zero G 95 has a first descent on the world’s highest, biggest line—the Lhotse Couloir in Nepal’s Himalayas. Ski mountaineers Hilaree Nelson and Jim Morrison requested Blizzard’s Zero G 95 when they set out to summit the 27,940-foot-peak, and indeed, the skis got the pair down safely—not to mention the high-altitude pow turns they scored! Your backcountry adventure may be closer to home, but you can still reap the benefits of Austrian engineering that delivers the best downhill performance for the weight. Carbon Drive 2.0 paired with an ultra-light paulownia woodcore ensure efficiency on the skin track, while maintaining strength, a solid edge grip and a stable feel for the descent.
The Blizzard Zero G skis are yet another example of a bona fide downhill ski company weighing in on the growing demand for backcountry skis. And, yet again, we are happy to say that these skis really rip! The secret to the Zero G’s success is in its carbon frame technology aka the “”Carbon Drive.”” This amounts to a lattice work of carbon stringers that gets laid over an uber lightweight paulownia wood core helping to give the ski its lightweight but great downhill performance characteristics. The ski is slightly rockered in the tail and tip and traditionally cambered underfoot allowing it to be nimble when it needs to be. These are a great, lightweight ski that will provide you with ample happiness in virtually any condition.
TECHNICAL SPECS

MADE TO PERFORM – The best downhill performance due to the lightest weight and long contact surface that improves stability on all types of the terrain make the skis the best option for soft snow performance
GREAT CONSTRUCTION – Carbon Drive 2.0 paired with an ultra-light paulownia woodcore ensure efficiency on the skin track, while maintaining strength, a solid edge grip and a stable feel for the descent
CARBON REINFORCEMENT – Two edge to edge layers of bi-directional carbon fiber are positioned in the binding mounting areas to improve binding retention and torsional strength
NEW ZERO G – Longer radius sidecut of the skis is more forgiving and less catchy, especially in variable snow; 3D shape and new carbon fiber inlayed glass fiberglass make them lightweight yet strong
