The MRS-7014B trigger start torch head is one of the most popular and versatile product in the portable gas industry, our unique product stands out from all others by its 1.5 inch extended burner tube and reliable performances on Standard Propane and MAP-PRO gas.

The MRS-7014 series are the upgraded version of previous popular MRS-7013 model. The upgraded model featured with improved ergonomic body. And the torch is separately designed into two versions for best performance:

MRS-7014A is specially optimized for using on 16.1oz BLUEFIRE Modern MAPP cylinder
MRS-7014B is specially optimized for using on 14.1oz Standard Propane or MAP-PRO (Propylene)

Why?

Because the inner pressure for MAPP and standard propane are NOT the same! This will result completely different flow velocities for different fuel gases. For higher pressure fuel gas, too fast gas flow will extinguish the ignition spark when lighting; while for the lower pressure fuel gas, too slow gas flow will result a smaller and weaker flame cone during using, if the torch design does not optimized for different fuels. And this is the root of the most common users complaints about low ignition rate and weak flame. Almost all gas torch products currently selling on the market only have one design version for all fuel gases, which is actually a compromise to sacrifice performance and ignition rate.

Our MRS-7014 series perfectly resolve the problem by two design versions optimized for different fuels. If you are working on BLUEFIRE MAPP, you can choose MRS-7014A for best performances, on the other hand, if you are working on standard propane or propylene, then the MRS-7014B is the best tool specially optimized for you.
