What is a solar generator?

A solar generator is an alternative power source that uses the sun’s rays as electricity. Solar panels capture the sun’s energy, convert it into electricity, and store it in a backup battery power station for immediate or later use. The power harnessed from the sun and stored in the portable power station can supply your home with electricity during a power outage or emergency situation.

How do solar generators work?

A solar generator usually includes solar panels and a backup battery power station. The solar panels collect the sun’s rays and convert it into energy, which is then stored in the backup battery power station. The backup battery power station supplies electricity to other devices and appliances via the standard AC output (110V) and various DC outputs (USB-A, USB-C, car outlet) when power is needed.

What devices can the HomePower ONE charge or power?

The HomePower ONE has multiple output ports including 2x USB-A, 2x USB-C, 3x AC outlets, and a car outlet. It can charge and power crucial communication devices, home appliances, security devices, cameras, lighting, medical devices, tools, and more. The USB-A and USB-C ports can charge common battery-powered devices charged by USB ports. The AC outlets can charge and power devices that operate at less than 1000 Watts. The total wattage output from the HomePower ONE should be under 1000 watts. If exceeded, the HomePower ONE will shut off automatically. Please check your device’s specifications before use.

How long can the HomePower ONE power up my device?

As a general rule of thumb, working time = 1002Wh X 0.85 / operating wattage of your device. For example, if your device is 60W, the working time will be about 1002Wh X 0.85 / 60w=14.2hrs. Please note: the actual working time may vary from different usages and conditions.

Can I charge my HomePower ONE while supplying power to other devices at the same time? Yes! The HomePower ONE can be recharged while charging other devices.

Can the HomePower ONE power the whole house? Please note that the HomePower ONE is designed to be a PORTABLE power station. It keeps your choice of home devices charged and operational for up to 7 days on a single charge (depending on the power required by the individual device and the frequency of your using it). It’s compatible with home appliances, electronic communication and medical devices, security systems, and more. You can conveniently take the HomePower ONE to the area where your device is located, and plug your device into the unit. If your devices are located in different areas and you need to power them at the same time, you can either move all the devices to one area or buy multiple HomePower ONE units for more backup power and flexibility.

Does the HomePower ONE turn on automatically if the power goes out? The Generark emergency power supply is a portable power station. You will need to plug your device into the unit and turn on the unit after the power at your home goes out. It doesn’t turn on automatically for safety reasons. Can I use the HomePower ONE indoors? Yes, the HomePower ONE can be used indoors. It doesn’t emit any gas or harmful substances. It’s 100% safe to be used indoors.

How long will the HomePower ONE last? The HomePower ONE will hold the charge for a minimum of one year after it’s fully charged. We recommend using and recharging it every 6 months as the best practice to keep the product in good condition. After 500 full cycles of recharging (from 0% to 100%), the battery will still be holding at least 80% of its original capacity. If you adopt the best recharging practice, i.e. recharging it before the battery level drops below 25%, the capacity loss rate will improve significantly. The battery will still be holding at least 90% to 95% of its original capacity after 500 cycles. We expect our products to last for a long time and you don’t need to change the battery inside.
