Heat Shield Compatibility and Installation

This model and style of patio heater heat shield will best fit on 4-sided glass tube heaters that use 18 1/2 inches by 18 1/2 inches heat shields with 3 mounting holes that are of equal distance from each other (2 3/4 inches). Compatible patio heater brands include AZ Patio Heaters, Garden Radiance, Garden Sun, Golden Flame, Hiland, and Prime Glo. Even with the universal compatibility with a specific type of patio heater, this heat shield/reflector cap’s pre-drilled holes may not fit all patio heater brands/models of similar-sized heat shields. If this is the case for your patio heater, you can drill new holes to mount the heat shield properly. Center the heat shield on top of the patio heater. Note the bolt pattern. Take measurements, especially the relative position of the bolts from the center of the heat shield and the bolts’ distance from each other. Mark the exact position on your heat shield and drill new holes with a sheet metal bit
