High quality short fly rod for 3 weight fly line.

The Wild Water 5’6″ 3 weight Fly Rod is one of the shortest rods available and can be used to target a variety of fish. This rod is great for beginners just starting their fly fishing adventures or for experienced anglers that have been fishing for years. Our AX3-056-4 series rod is a 5 feet, 6 inches in length, 4-pieces and can used with 3 weight fly line.

The matte black graphite fly rod features a machined black aluminum reel seat with double locking rings and laser etched butt cap. The Western style cork handle provides comfort for long afternoons of fishing. The rod is finished with stainless steel stripper guides, single foot snake guides, and a stainless tip top. This Wild Water fly rod is best suited for trout, panfish, small bass and performs wells in small to medium streams, ponds, and backpacking. This rod will get you into tightest spaces that a longer fly rods can’t go.

Lightweight 75mm diameter die cast aluminum fly reel.

Our fly fishing rod and reel combo starter kit isn’t complete without a light weight fly fishing reel that lets your line fly far and quick. This custom designed die cast aluminum 75mm diameter spool features an adjustable disc drag and a quick release spool lever. The reel comes preinstalled with 20# backing, a custom designed chartreuse weight forward 3 weight floating line and a 7.5’ 5X tapered monofilament leader.

All Wild Water Fly Fishing reels can easily be converted from left handed retrieve to right handed retrieve. This reel is a fan favorite and we are sure that it will become one of your favorite pieces of fly fishing equipment for those long days of fishing.

Durable hard protective rod case and waterproof fly storage box.

Every Wild Water Fly Fishing starter package come with a durable nylon carrying case for travel and storage. This rod case features an inner hard PVC rod tube, an attached zippered reel pouch and external zippered pouch with ample space for any additional fly fishing gear. For the best protection of your Wild Water fly rod, use our 4-section cloth rod bag to store your rod section before storing the rod in the case.

Our custom designed fly storage box has custom designed foam inserts that can hold all the flies that you’ll need for day out on the water. This lightweight fly box is waterproof and extremely durable. Our US based service team is a phone call or email away if you have any questions or concerns.

FLY ROD: 3-weight, 5’6”, 4 Piece, medium-fast action, IM8 matte black graphite. Has machined black aluminum reel seat with double lock rings and laser etched butt cap, 5 ½” long, cigar style cork handle with compressed cork accent rings, stainless steel stripper guide with silicon carbide rings, stainless single foot guides and tip top. Each section is 18” long. Rod weight is 2.4 ounces.
ROD CASE: 21.5” hard tube rod case with, reel pouch and side storage pouch with zipper. The case will hold rod, reel, fly box and all the accessories. Case has a carry strap and hang ring. Rod Bag: 4-section cloth rod bag with ties. Fly rod is placed in the bag before storing in the tube for the best protection.
