Impressed by “pop artwork” from the Fifties-60s, the artist created this Black Ice 1941 Reproduction to honor Zippo founder George G. Blaisdell and re-interpret his well-known {photograph} in trendy artwork fashion. Every small flame was coloured individually to create the shading and highlights of this recognizable portrait.  The 1941 Reproduction is recognized by a number of attribute options, together with a four-barrel hinge that joins the lid and backside (the present Zippo lighter has a five-barrel hinge.) Flat back and front surfaces meet the perimeters with sharp, much less rounded edges than present fashions.
